Took this out to the range yesterday. Mounted it as a co-witness with flip up irons as a backup.
Mounting was easy on my AR with the riser and two screws, one for sight and one for riser. One was hex and the other torx, which is weird but oh well. They give you a little wrench for each one, but be careful, they are low quality and could strip the screw heads pretty easy.
Once mounted, it lined up perfect with my irons and the riser was the right height for me. Zeroed in 4 shots at 25M, five more shots had me sighted in at 100M. I really appreciated the little built-in screwdriver on the turret caps, they worked really well
I was shooting in full sunlight under a cover. It has a nice small 2MOA dot that was pretty sharp, but not as sharp as the higher price Holosuns I normally run. It has 11 brightness settings, but worked fine on 4 or 5 that day. Held its zero for the 300 rounds i shot that day.
All in all, for $60 I would recommend this to anyone who wanted a budget red dot that does what it's supposed to but you're short on cash. That being said, if you have $200-$500 there are sights that work better and are probably more durable.
