Not spring loaded.

The sights look and work awesome. No problems so far but I thought they were spring deployed and they are not.

Good backup sights for less money.

I installed them on 16in Ar15 rifle. They work fine. I like the fiber optic and they are iron flip ups, because of my eye sight, fiber optic easy to pick up. Don't know about cowitness with a red dot setup.
